Aidin Salamzadeh is a PhD researcher in Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship, University of Tehran. He has several publications in international journals and participated in national and international conferences in some countries. His main areas of interest are: startups, new venture creation, entrepreneurial universities, social entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship policy making. He is the editor in chief of the Journal of Entrepreneurship, Business and Economics (JEBE) in Canada, and serves as a member of the editorial board in some journals such as Journal of Women’s Entrepreneurship and Education (JWE) in Serbia and collaborates as a Reviewer with some journals in other countries. He is also a member of European SPES Forum (Belgium), Asian Academy of Management (Malaysia), Institute of Economic Sciences (Serbia), and Ondokuz Mayis University (Turkey).
Aidin is experienced in running startup companies and social ventures. He serves as a mentor in innovation accelerators such as Avatech and DMOND. He also has extensive experience of working with senior and middle managers in different companies, as well as working as project manager or business development manager in companies like Rocket Internet, Middle East Internet Holding, Exit Economic Collaboration Group, Simorgh, TAKTA, Middle East Knowledge Management Institute, Apex, RISCO, etc. He is currently the CEO and board member of a startup accelerator.
